FAQ
Common questions
Is this the same as a roadworthy?
No. A roadworthy covers minimum safety on the day. A pre-purchase inspection looks at overall condition, signs of past repairs and likely costs ahead.
Can you inspect the car where it's for sale?
Yes. We can go to the seller's home or the dealer's yard (a mobile fee applies), or the car can come to our Biggera Waters workshop.
Which level should I choose?
Essential suits a quick check of a lower-priced car. Comprehensive is the most popular and adds a diagnostic scan and PPSR certificate. Premium adds paint depth readings, a valuation guide and a phone debrief.
What's a PPSR?
A search showing whether money is owed on the car, and whether it's been reported stolen or written off.
When do I get the report?
By email after the inspection, usually the same day.
Are you independent?
Yes. We don't sell cars and we aren't paid by the seller.
